I grew up in Montana and consider myself to be an outdoorsman. I enjoy hiking, camping, and canoeing. I am new to the Valley and am so far finding it a great place to live and work.

Education and Expertise

I graduated from the University of New Mexico summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Then I attended Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery earning the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.

After the completion of academic studies, I completed my residency and fellowships.

I completed my residency at SSM DePaul Health Center in St. Louis and my fellowship with Charles M. Zelen DPM, Foot & Ankle Association of SW Virginia in Roanoke.

My fellowship focused on training and experience in advanced elective surgery, including forefoot surgery, rearfoot surgery, and total ankle replacements. The fellowship also afforded me extensive training and experience in advanced limb salvage techniques, including the application of multiplane external fixators, skin grafts, skin flaps and muscle flaps.
